On February 21, 2010, the American hockey stunned the Canadian hockey team in a 2-1 victory in the Olympics. In the article "Team USA stuns Canada in Hockey," Sarah Kwak states that it was the first time the USA hockey team beat the Canadian team in 50 years. The USA hockey team's record against the Canadian team was 2-10-3 going into the game making the USA team a heavy underdog.

This game is an instant classic. The Canadians and Americans both have very good hockey teams, but the Canadians were supposed to win this game. America came up big in this game. This will hopefully fuel the American team to a gold medal.
